 ^{We were awarded the 2001 National Frame Builders Association Retrofit (remodel) Category Building of the Year for this building.  The building is home for the Lawrence Township Fire department, Quick Response Team, the Township Sexton's equipment, and the Township meeting room. This building has been renamed the Community Services Building by the Lawrence Township Board of Trustees. Thomsen Construction and Supply Co. was the Construction Manager for  this project. On December 13, 2001, the Lawrence Township Board of Trustees adopted a resolution expressing their appreciation for the timely and efficient manner in which the project was completed.  They also acknowledged that the project was completed under the approved budget and the fact that the project was awarded the National Frame Builders Association Award.}

^{Building Facts:}

^{The existing structure consisted of a 4608 sf masonry building. The interior included a 2 1/2 truck bay fire station with offices, kitchen and restrooms. The new addition is a 3648 sf post frame structure. The roof system incorporated trusses with a shingle roof over the new addition and existing building. The restrooms were relocated so that the existing restrooms could be remodeled for offices. A mezzanine storage area was incorporated over the new restrooms and shower. The exterior finish is a EIFS wall finish system. The interior of the new truck bays are finished with a steel panel ceiling. The walls are finished with glasboard to 8' high and steel liner above the glasboard.}
